BACK TO PROJECTS INDEX Virginia Wesleyan College Multipurpose Center Mohlin & Company recently completed the structural design for a 137,000 SF, $14,700,000 multipurpose athletic, recreational and student center for Virginia Wesleyan College located in Norfolk, Virginia. "Our new Jane P. Batten Student Center is the finest facility on the East Coast", stated Dr. William T. Greer, Jr., President of the College. The facility boasts a spacious lobby, fitness center, multipurpose activity court, an eight-lane natatorium, a "Town Square", large aerobics room, Marlin Sports Grille, visitor and team locker rooms and training room. Mohlin & Company was the "Structural Engineer of Record" and provided conceptual design to develop early construction costs, final detailed design and construction administrative services.
